Care and Support West works to provide support to members, speaking with a single unified voice on their behalf. It seeks to positively influence the quality of service provision in the sector and to enhance the value of the independent providers as an essential part of the full range of choices open to those making decisions relating to care.

Care and Support West is committed to:

• Giving providers a voice in the strategic direction of the future of social care and health services
• Ensuring that those involved in providing services in the sector are treated and funded fairly
• Having input into policies and regulations through consultation and lobbying

Care and Support West works in partnership with a wide range of statutory agencies who share the same commitment to quality, choice and value. We also ensure that these partnerships are based on respect and fair treatment.

Care and Support West members have signed up to a Code of Conduct that can offer assurances regarding the quality of services they provide. This added assurance can be very valuable at a time when people are making difficult personal choices or a decision is being made on behalf of a family member.
